Can an older fella learn to fly?
I don’t think it’s my headset, but I’m having a hard time understanding the controllers, both ground and tower. And my last couple of lessons, and the next morning’s, have been at controlled fields. I much prefer uncontrolled airports where everyoned, most everyone, self announces.
I have almost 20 hours of dual instruction … this time. You know the saying “third times the charm.” Well this is the third time I’ve started to try to learn to fly, if you don’t count the time I bought part interest in a plane and didn’t even have time for a single lesson in it!
